Lourdes Airport Access
The Lourdes Airport is located about 6 miles (10 km) north of Lourdes and about 5 miles (9 km) south-southwest of Tarbes. The airport serves both Lourdes and Tarbes, and is located off the N21 (route nationale) between both towns. The airport is in the small town of Ossun. For the airport follow the signs for Ossun with an airport logo.
The airport is off the A64 motorway, that runs East-West from Toulouse to Pau. The junction for the airport is 12 Tarbes-ouest. From the A 64 (which is closer to Tarbes), you have to drive about 6 miles (10 km.) along lovely winding roads and hills along the N21 to get to the airport.
There is bus service between Lourdes and the airport. The bus service leaves the airport approximately every hour, and is not connected to any particular airplane arrival. It is a local service run by Maligne.
There is also shuttle service (Navette in French) during the ski season (December-April) to ski resorts. This service is coordinated to Ryanair flight schedules.
A taxi from Lourdes train station to the airport costs approximately 20 Euros. There are taxis waiting constantly at the Lourdes train station, so it's easy to get a taxi from there any time. At the Lourdes airport there is a taxi rank.
